An appointing authority shall notify human resource management services of each vacant classified, nontemporary position the appointing authority intends to fill through external recruitment. The notification must be submitted in the form of a completed vacancy announcement transmitted

electronically in the statewide-approved applicant tracking system. The appointing authority also shall list vacancies for external recruitment with job service North Dakota.
