Eligibility determination for applications

- (1) Upon receiving an application for assistance under this part, the department shall promptly make an eligibility determination and notify the applicant in writing of the eligibility decision.
- (2) Each applicant shall participate in any screening required by the department and must be informed of the applicant's right to a fair hearing and of the confidential nature of information secured.
- (3) Upon completion of an eligibility determination and any required screening, aid must be furnished promptly to all eligible persons.
