Definition of community home -- limitation on number of residents

- (1) A community home for persons with developmental disabilities is a family-oriented residence or home designed to provide facilities for two to six persons with developmental disabilities, established as an alternative to existing state institutions.
- (2) The department may waive the limit on the number of residents prescribed in subsection (1) for a community home licensed and in operation prior to October 1, 2025.
