For purposes of this part, unless the context requires otherwise, the following definitions apply:

1. (1) "Children with multiagency service needs" means children under 18 years of age who have a need for services that are available from more than one state agency.
2. (2) "Services" means publicly funded social services for children, including public education, child protective services, mental health services, child health care, and related services.

3. (3) "State agency" means:

   1. (a) the department of corrections provided for in 2-15-2301;
   2. (b) the board of crime control provided for in 2-15-2008;
   3. (c) the department of public health and human services provided for in 2-15-2201; and
   4. (d) the superintendent of public instruction provided for in 2-15-701.
