1. (1) The commission shall elect one of its members to serve as the secretary and upon such election shall notify the governor of the name and mailing address of such person.
2. (2) The secretary shall keep a record of all proceedings by the commission and act as corresponding secretary with the governor's office and with the office of the chief justice of the supreme court.
