1. (1) If it is impractical to furnish any required information, document, or report at the time it is required to be filed, a separate document may be filed with the commissioner:

   1. (a) identifying the information, document, or report in question;
   2. (b) stating why filing at the time required is impractical; and
   3. (c) requesting an extension of time to a specified date for filing the information, document, or report.
2. (2) Unless the commissioner notifies the person that the request for extension is denied within 30 days after receipt of the request, the request will be deemed granted.
