1. (1) Licensed Montana water well contractors/drillers shall prepare a well log report form for each well drilled. The contractors/drillers shall file each well log report (Form No. 603) with the Ground Water Information Center (GWIC) of the MBMG within 60 days of completing the well. The contractors/drillers shall also provide copies of each well log, within 60 days of completing the well, to:

   1. (a) the water well owner; and
   2. (b) other such agencies as required by 85-2-516 and 85-2-517, MCA.
2. (2) The contractors/drillers must maintain copies of each well log report in their own files.
