1. (1) Disposition of cervid herds with a CWD confirmed diagnosis is as follows:

   1. (a) Complete depopulation and post-mortem testing of the herd; or

   2. (b) The entire herd shall be placed under quarantine for a period of five years since the last CWD positive case.

      1. (i) The licensee must comply with CWD surveillance of the herd as outlined in ARM 32.4.1302.
      2. (ii) The licensee shall meet with the state veterinarian and develop a herd plan within 30 days of the detection of CWD in the herd.
