1. (1) Except as provided in (3), all tenants in common must sign the bill of sale for livestock bearing a brand recorded in tenancy in common.
2. (2) Except as provided in (3), at least one joint tenant must sign the bill of sale for livestock bearing a brand recorded in joint tenancy with right of survivorship.

3. (3) Brand owners may designate any natural person as an agent authorized to transfer livestock bearing the brand.

   1. (a) Agent designations must be made on the certificate of brand recording and must be signed by all brand owners at the time of the designation.
   2. (b) All brand recordings listing an owner that is not a natural person (e.g., corporation, limited liability company, trust, etc.) must designate at least one natural person as the agent of the non-natural person owner.
