(1) Board-approved training courses must include an examination that must be passed. The course must provide content including but not limited to:
1. (a) Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) core competencies;
2. (b) boundaries and ethics;
3. (c) confidentiality;
4. (d) scope of practice;
5. (e) communication skills;
6. (f) self-care;
7. (g) suicide awareness;
8. (h) stages of change;
9. (i) trauma-informed care;
10. (j) cultural awareness;
11. (k) pathways of recovery;
12. (l) recovery story;
13. (m) clinical supervision;
14. (n) accessing community resources;
15. (o) emotional intelligence;
16. (p) supporting others in recovery;
17. (q) one-on-one session skills;
18. (r) support group facilitation; and
19. (s) recovery planning.
