1. (1) Unless they qualify for a temporary license under 37-73-208, MCA, applicants for elevator inspectors licenses shall provide evidence satisfactory to the department that they possess certification as such from one or more of the following entities:

   1. (a) ANSI;
   2. (b) NAESA;
   3. (c) ASME; or
   4. (d) another elevator inspector certification from a provider entity, as approved by the department on a case-by-case basis.
