1. (1) Subject to (2), the following juvenile records are available for public inspection:

   1. (a) reports of preliminary inquiries;
   2. (b) petitions;
   3. (c) motions;
   4. (d) filed pleadings;
   5. (e) court findings;
   6. (f) verdicts; and
   7. (g) orders and decrees on file with the clerk of court.
2. (2) The juvenile records listed in (1) must be physically sealed on the youth's 18th birthday, in accordance with the procedure and exceptions listed at 41-5-216, MCA. Once sealed, the records are no longer available for public inspection.
