MPEP App. AI, Section 422bis – Objections Concerning Changes in the Person of the Applicant Recorded under Rule 92bis.1(a)

(a) Where a change recorded by the International Bureau under Rule 92bis.1 (a):
1. (i) consists of a change in the person of the applicant, and
2. (ii) the request under Rule 92bis.1 (a) was not signed by or on behalf of both the earlier and the new applicant, and
3. (iii) the earlier applicant objects to the change in writing,

the change under Rule 92bis.1 (a) shall be considered as if it had not been recorded.
1. (b) Where paragraph (a) applies, the International Bureau shall notify all those who received a notification under Section 422 (a) accordingly.
