There is hereby created a "State Banking Board" which shall have such powers and duties as are conferred upon it by law. The state banking board with all of its powers, duties, and functions is assigned by type III transfer under the authority of the Omnibus State Reorganization Act of 1974 and executive order 06-04 to the department of insurance, financial institutions and professional registration.
