A provisional license may be issued to a qualified applicant for licensure pending examination results and completion of the veterinary candidacy program, if the applicant meets all other required qualifications for licensure in sections 340.200 to 340.330; provided that the applicant is working under the supervision of a licensed veterinarian in good standing. Such supervision shall be consistent with the delegated animal health care task. A provisional license shall expire one year after the date of issuance.
