Every holder of a certificate of registration shall display it in a conspicuous place in his principal office, place of business or employment. Whenever a registered optometrist practices optometry outside of, or away from, his principal office, places of business or employment, he shall deliver to each patient in his care a certificate of identification or provide other identification as authorized by rule and regulation.
