1. 1. Apprentices or students shall be registered with the board and shall pay a student fee or an apprentice fee prior to beginning their course, and shall have an education equivalent to the successful completion of the tenth grade.
2. 2. An apprentice or student shall not be enrolled in a course of study that shall exceed twelve hours per day or that is less than three hours per day. The course of study shall be no more than seventy-two hours per week and no less than fifteen hours per week.
3. 3. Every person desiring to act as an apprentice in any of the classified occupations within this chapter shall file with the board a written application on a form supplied to the applicant, together with the required apprentice fee.
