Any person may apply to the board for examination and license as a professional land surveyor who has been enrolled as a land surveyor-in-training for a period of not less than one year and who has presented evidence to the satisfaction of the board that such person has completed the following requirement: a person who applied for enrollment as a land surveyor-in-training under the provisions of subsection 1 or 2 of section 327.312 must have acquired at least two years of satisfactory professional field and office experience in land surveying projects under the immediate personal supervision of a professional land surveyor in addition to the experience required for enrollment as a land surveyor-in-training. A person who applied for enrollment as a land surveyor-in-training under the provisions of subsection 3 of section 327.312 must have acquired at least one year of satisfactory professional field and office experience in land surveying projects under the immediate personal supervision of a professional land surveyor in addition to the experience required for enrollment as a land surveyor-in-training. At any time prior to January 1, 1991, any person possessing the experience qualifications above set forth may apply to the board for examination and license as a professional land surveyor if the applicant either:

1. (1) Is a graduate of and holds a degree in engineering from an accredited school of engineering and has acquired at least two years of satisfactory land surveying experience after such person has graduated and has received a degree as aforesaid; or
2. (2) Is a high school graduate, or holds a Missouri certificate of high school equivalence (GED), and after such graduation or after having acquired the certificate, has acquired at least eight years of satisfactory education and experience in land surveying.
