Mo. Rev. Stat. § 215.353
The Missouri housing development commission shall, to the extent possible and in conjunction with the participating cities, select properties for renovation pursuant to the workfare renovation project established in sections 215.340 to 215.355 so that diverse socioeconomic backgrounds and circumstances are reflected in the renovated neighborhoods and communities.
