Mo. Rev. Stat. § 205.750
Every superintendent, before entering upon his duties, shall enter into a bond to the state of Missouri in a sum not less than five hundred nor more than three thousand dollars, to be determined by the county commission, conditioned that he will faithfully account for all money belonging to the county that shall come into his hands, and that he will exercise due diligence and care over property belonging to the county, under his control. Said bond shall be approved by the county commission and filed with the clerk thereof.
