1. 1. The department of health and senior services may, by agreement with the curators of the University of Missouri, contract for such facilities at the Missouri rehabilitation center as are necessary to carry out the functions of the tuberculosis testing laboratory and may employ personnel as are necessary for the operation of such laboratory.
2. 2. The expenses incurred in the operation of the tuberculosis testing laboratory at the rehabilitation center or elsewhere shall be paid from state or federal or other funds appropriated for the maintenance and operation of the tuberculosis testing laboratory.
