PURPOSE: This rule provides eligibility requirements to obtain a drunk driving victim memorial sign under David’s Law.
- (1) A sign may only be installed in memory of an individual who died in Missouri as a result of a motor vehicle accident caused by a person who was shown to have been operating a motor vehicle at the time of the accident while intoxicated.
- (2) A sign shall not be installed in memory of those who themselves were intoxicated while also operating a motor vehicle.
- (3) Only one (1) sign may be requested and installed for a victim of a motor vehicle accident caused by a person who was shown to be operating a motor vehicle in an intoxicated condition at the time of the accident.
