PURPOSE: The purpose of this rule is to set forth the bylaws which have been adopted by the Board of Curators relating to the scheduling of meetings of the board. These bylaws may also be found in section 3.0102.1 of the Collected Rules and Regulations of the University of Missouri.
- (1) The regular meeting of the board held during the month of June of each year shall be deemed to be the annual meeting of the Board of Curators and shall be held on such date in June as is fixed by the board.
- (2) The hoard may hold regular meetings at a time and place to be fixed by the board. The time and place of a regular meeting may be changed by order of the board.
- (3) A special meeting of the board may be called at anytimeby the president ofthe board, or in case of his/her absence, disability or refusal to act, by the joint action of three (3) curators. At least three (3) days’ notice of the time and place of each such meeting shall be given by letter or telegram mailed or sent to each curator at his/her address on file with the secretary. Such notice may be waived by the curators in writing and attendance by a curator at a special meeting shall be deemed to be such waiver. Only thosesubjects specified in the call for a special meeting will be considered at such a special meeting except by unanimous consent of the board.
(4) Adjourned meetings may be ordered and held by the board at such time and place as may be agreed upon. 6 CSR 250-2 , Is;)
