PURPOSE: The purpose of this rule is to comply with section 536.023, RSMo 1986 which requires each agency to adopt as a rule a description of its operation and the methods where the public may obtain information or make submissions or requests.
- (1) The curators of the University of Missouri (hereafter University of Missouri) is a public corporation of the state of Missouri governed under Article IX, Section 9(a) of the 1945 Constitution of the state of Missouri by a board of curators consisting of nine (9) members appointed by the governor, by and with the advice and consent of the senate.
- (2) The University of Missouri is an academic institution of higher education with campuses located in the cities of Columbia, Missouri; Kansas City, Missouri; Rolla, Missouri; and St Louis, Missouri offering undergraduate and graduate degree programs in various areas, fields and disciplines and other educational services and programs.
- (3) The public may obtain information or make submissions or requests to the board of curators by contacting the secretary to the Board of Curators, 316 University Hall, Columbia, MO 65211, telephone (314) 882- 2388.
