Mo. Code Regs. Ann. tit. 5, § 25-300.030
PURPOSE: This rule establishes criteria for local health departments to conduct health and safety inspections and for local fire districts to conduct fire safety inspections of license-exempt child care facilities. (1) Sanitation inspections of license-exempt facilities may be delegated to local health departments if the standards employed for inspections are substantially equivalent to 19 CSR 40-60.090 Sanitation Requirements. Fees, as provided for in section 192.300, RSMo, may be charged at the option of the local health department. (2) Fire safety inspections of license-exempt facilities may be delegated to local fire districts if the standards employed for inspections are equivalent to 19 CSR 40-60.080 Fire Safety Requirements.
