PURPOSE: The State Board of Education is authorized to grant certificates of license to 5 CSR 20-400

teach in any of the public schools of the state and establish requirements and qualifications for those certificates. This rule outlines the fees assessed.

1. (1) The State Board of Education (board) shall establish fees sufficient to recover costs of processing and issuing certificates of license to teach. All applicants for a certificate of license to teach shall submit the approved application accompanied by the required fee.
2. (2) All fees are nonrefundable.
