PURPOSE: This rule outlines how individuand Hard of Hearing

als may be granted a Certified Deaf Interpreter Certification.

1. (1) Certification as a Certified Deaf Interpreter (MO-CDI) may be obtained only by conversion pursuant to rule 5 CSR 100- 200.100 by an applicant who receives a passing score on any of the following tests administered by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC):

   1. (A) Level III Intermediary;
   2. (B) Level IV Intermediary; or
   3. (C) Level V Intermediary.
