PURPOSE: This rule prescribes the form and governs the construction and filing of freight tariffs for common carriers of household goods 4 CSR 265-6

- (1) The division adopts “General Order No. 3” of the Missouri Public Service Commission, also known as Circular No. 42, prescribing the form and governing the construction and filing of freight tariffs and classifications of common carriers and which became effective September 1, 1937. Every carrier of household goods under the jurisdiction of the Division of Transportation is directed to file with the division and print and keep open for public inspection in every station, office and warehouse where household goods are received for transportation, schedules showing the rates and charges for the transportation of household goods within this state.
- (2) The rules contain instructions on the form and content of freight tariffs, rules governing rates for the transportation of household goods, requirements for filing and changes in tariffs and various administrative rules as well as other rules on freight tariffs.
