PURPOSE: This rule describes the format and usage of a registered landscape architect’s identification.

1. (1) Each original set of plans, specifications, estimates, reports and other documents prepared by or under the direction of a registered landscape architect may include the following:

   1. (A) His/her signature;
   2. (B) His/her name;
   3. (C) The date; and
   4. (D) His/her landscape architect registration number.
2. (2) Pursuant to 4 CSR 196-9.010(1)(B) and (C), the registered landscape architect may choose, at his/her discretion and expense, to affix and secure his/her name, date and registration number with a rubber stamp over his/her signature.
3. (3) If, in accordance with this section, a registered landscape architect chooses to use a rubber stamp, it may include the following in eight (8)-point type:

I hereby certify that this plan, specification or report was prepared by me or under my direct supervision and that I am a duly registered landscape architect under the laws of the state of Missouri.
