PURPOSE: This regulation provides general 20 CSR 700-1
guidelines for the conduct of insurance business in Missouri over the Internet.
- (1) All laws and rules applying to the conduct of the business of insurance apply to the business of insurance conducted and transacted over the Internet.
(2) Each website or home page of an insurance producer or insurance company shall contain—
- (A) An address and telephone number for contact with the insurance producer or insurance company; and
- (B) A notice of the state(s) in which they are authorized or licensed to engage in the business of insurance.
