PURPOSE: This rule establishes and fixes the various fees and charges for the Board of Private Investigator and Private Fire Investigator Examiners.

1. (1) All fees shall be paid by cashier’s check, personal check, business check, money order, or other method approved by the division and shall be made payable to the Board of Private Investigator and Private Fire Investigator Examiners.
2. (2) No fee will be refunded should any license be surrendered, suspended, or revoked during the term for which the license is issued.

3. (3) The following licensure fees are established as follows:

   1. (A) Investigator—

      2. 2. Renewal license $400
      3. 3. Renewal penalty $100
      4. 4. Inactive $100
      5. 5. Reactivation $300
      6. 6. Fingerprinting

   2. (B) Agency—

      1. 1. Application
      2. 2. Renewal license
      3. 3. Renewal penalty
      4. 4. Additional agency license—initial
      5. 5. Additional agency license—renewal
      6. 6. Additional agency license—renewal penalty

   3. (C) Licensed Agency Employee—

      1. 1. Application
      2. 2. Renewal license
      3. 3. Renewal penalty
      4. 4. Fingerprinting

4. (4) The following miscellaneous fees are established as follows:

   1. (A) Continuing education (CE) course review
   2. (B) Individual course review
   3. (C) Exam
   4. (D) Verification
   5. (E) Bad Check
5. (5) All fees are nonrefundable.
