PURPOSE: This rule defines what must be included in the publication (bulletin, catalogue, or both) published by programs of practical nursing.

1. (1) Publications shall be current, dated and internally consistent.
2. (2) Nondiscrimination policy shall appear in publications specific to the nursing program.

3. (3) The following information shall be given to the applicant in writing prior to admission:

   1. (A) Approval status as granted by the board (initial, full or conditional approval status);
   2. (B) Admission criteria;
   3. (C) Section 335.066 of the Missouri Nursing Practice Act with an explanation that completion of the program does not guarantee eligibility to take the licensure examination;
   4. (D) Advanced placement policies;
   5. (E) Student services;
   6. (F) Curriculum plan;
   7. (G) Program costs;
   8. (H) Refund policy; and
   9. (I) Financial assistance.

4. (4) The following information shall be given to the student in writing upon entry:

   1. (A) Philosophy;
   2. (B) Graduate competencies;
   3. (C) Grading, promotion and graduation policies;
   4. (D) Faculty roster with qualifications;
   5. (E) School calendar;
   6. (F) Student policies;
   7. (G) Student’s rights and responsibilities; and
   8. (H) Due process and grievance policies and procedures.
