PURPOSE: This rule defines the procedures for multiple campuses. (1) Each nursing program under sponsorship of the same institution will be treated independently for purposes of compliance with the minimum standards set forth by the board.
- (2) Each nursing program under the sponsorship of the same institution is required to submit a separate annual report, annual registration, and annual registration fee.
- (3) The sponsoring institution shall submit a proposal as indicated in 20 CSR 2200-2.010(4)(A) and receive approval from the board before opening an additional nursing program at a different campus or expand an approved nursing program to additional satellite location(s). Each additional campus and satellite location will be surveyed.
- (4) Each nursing program location at any campus and satellite location shall have a full-time faculty person designated as the coordinator who reports to the program administrator and meets the faculty requirements for appointment.
- (5) Discipline of one (1) nursing program will not automatically result in discipline of other nursing program(s) under the same institutional sponsorship. Discipline of a nursing program will apply to satellite expansion site(s) of the program.
- (6) Each nursing program will be evaluated individually concerning licensure examination results. Licensure examination results for satellite expansion sites will be part of the approved nursing program.
