PURPOSE: This rule defines the requirements for provisional licensure.

1. (1) A provisional license issued to an individual with a master’s degree in compliance with 20 CSR 2095-2.010 shall be valid for at least two (2) years from the date of issuance and shall be deemed void upon its expiration date or upon termination of supervision, whichever occurs first.

(30) semester hours of post-degree counseling course work, specialist, or doctoral degree in compliance with 20 CSR 2095- 2.010 shall be valid for at least one (1) year from the date of issuance and shall be deemed void upon its expiration date or termination of supervision, whichever occurs first.
4. (3) Upon request, the committee may extend a provisional license for good cause at the discretion of the committee. An application for an extension of a provisional license shall be submitted to the committee prior to the expiration of the provisional license.
