PURPOSE: This rule adopts the Council of Landscape Architectural Registration Boards’ Landscape Architect Registration Examination (LARE) or its successor.

1. (1) The board adopts the Council of Landscape Architectural Registration Boards’ (CLARB) Landscape Architect Registration Examination (LARE) or its successor as its own. All applications for examination as a professional landscape architect shall be filed with the Missouri Board for Architects, Professional Engineers, Professional Land Surveyors, and Professional Landscape Architects, or a substantially equivalent provider so designated by the board, prior to the established deadline. An applicant must obtain a passing score on each portion of the examination in accordance with CLARB standards.
2. (2) Section (1) shall not apply to any applicant for licensure by comity who received waiver of educational and examination requirements under 20 CSR 2030-4.090(2).
