PURPOSE: This rule provides a clear definition of the words degree in science as those words are used in section 327.391, RSMo.
The words degree in science as they are used in section 327.391, RSMo are deemed by the board to be a degree comparable to a baccalaureate degree in physics, geology, chemistry, computer science, engineering physics or engineering science.

FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS AND Professional Engineers, Professional Land Surveyors, PROFESSIONAL REGISTRATION and Landscape Architects As used in section 327.241.4, RSMo, the board considers the phrase “final year of study” to be referring to those students who hold senior status in an engineering program which is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology.
