Coordinate System for Digital Cadastral Parcel Mapping Specified

PURPOSE: This rule specifies the coordinate system utilized for digital cadastral parcel mapping in Missouri.
- (1) The Missouri State Plane Coordinate System shall be the coordinate system used for digital cadastral parcel mapping in Missouri.
- (2) To convert metric mapping coordinates, if desired, to International Feet, use the conversion of 1 meter equals 3.280839895013 feet, where one (1) international foot equals 0.3048 meters exactly or 1 inch equals 2.54 centimeters exactly as defined by the National Institute of Science and Technology (NIST).
