PURPOSE: This rule clarifies who may weigh or supervise the actual weighing of grain at terminal warehouse locations, as well as at other grain warehouse locations, in Missouri as described in sections 411.030 and 411.160, RSMo.
(1) The department has the exclusive right to perform Class I and Class II weighing, and the subsequent certification, in terminal warehouses, as well as at all other grain warehouse locations in Missouri; except that, grain exchanges or boards of trade may weigh or supervise the weighing of grain in Missouri.
