PURPOSE: The Department of Agriculture is authorized to make all reasonable and needful rules for the proper protection of the state in the administration of sections 262.450— 262.490, RSMo. This rule provides a complete listing of all fairs and dates.
- (1) Only fairs that have notified the director of agriculture prior to March 1 of each year of their intention to hold a fair during the next fiscal year will receive state aid on fairs held.
- (2) The name, complete address of the secretary or chairman, correct title of the fair and exact dates and location of the fair and the approximate total cash premiums offered must be submitted with declaration of intent to hold a fair.
- (3) It is also necessary that fairs which are properly registered and approved submit their applications for state aid not later than sixty
- (60) days after the completion of their fairs, regardless of the dates on which the fair is held.
