Mo. Code Regs. Ann. tit. 16, § 30-2.150
PURPOSE: This rule establishes the documents acceptable to the Missouri State Employees’ Retirement System for verifying service.

(1) Service must be verified before credit is granted. Proof of verification which will be accepted by the Missouri State Employees’ Retirement System is listed in order of preference:
(2) If the records in (1)(A) and (B) are not available, then (2)(A) plus one (1) of either (2)(B), (C) or (D) must be presented to the board of trustees for approval.
(2) co-workers, supervisors, or both, listing period of employment for each department together with a statement from the employing department certifying that payroll/personnel records do not exist.
