PURPOSE: This rule permits the adoption of the North American Securities Administrator’s Association, Inc. Guidelines for the Registration of Real Estate Investment Trusts.

Real Estate Investment Trusts shall substantially comply, as determined by the commissioner by order or otherwise, with the North American Securities Administrator’s Association, Inc. (NASAA) Guidelines for the Registration of Real Estate Investment Trusts. Other unincorporated real estate trusts shall comply with the NASAA Real Estate Investment Trust Guidelines where applicable.
