PURPOSE: This rule prohibits the payment of Temporary Assistance to minor children who are absent from the home for a significant period of time.
(1) For the purpose of the administration of the Temporary Assistance Program, the Division of Family Services shall not provide assistance to or on behalf of—
(90) consecutive days; or
of the absence of the minor child from the home for the period specified in or provided for pursuant to subsection (1)(A), by the end of the five (5)-day period that begins with the date that it becomes clear to the parent (or relative) that the minor child will be absent for such period so specified or provided for.
