Detention Enclosure

PURPOSE: This rule requires the associations to provide detention enclosures.
- (1) Each association shall maintain a detention enclosure for use by the commission in securing samples of urine, saliva, blood or other bodily substances or tissues for chemical analysis from horses who have participated in a race. The enclosure shall include a wash rack, commission veterinarian office, a walking ring and at least eight (8) stalls each equipped with a window sufficiently large to allow the taking of the samples to be witnessed from outside the stall.
