PURPOSE: This the rule sets forth officials which associations must provide for the thoroughbred and quarterhorse race meetings.

(1) General Description. Every association conducting a race meeting shall appoint at least the following officials:
1. (A) The racing secretary;
2. (B) The paddock judge;
3. (C) The horse identifier;
4. (D) The clerk of the scales;
5. (E) The starter;
6. (F) Timers, if needed;
7. (G) Three (3) or more patrol judges;
8. (H) Three (3) placing judges;
9. (I) The association veterinarian; and
