PURPOSE: This rule establishes the passing score for the highway sign recognition test as outlined in section 302.173, RSMo.

1. (1) The director shall require any person applying for a new or renewal driver license to submit to an examination that tests his/her ability to understand highway signs regulating, warning or directing traffic.
2. (2) The person shall be presented with six (6) highway signs and must successfully identify four (4) out of the six (6) signs to pass the examination.
