PURPOSE: This rule defines excessive speed used for commercial motor vehicle disqualification actions. (1) For the purpose of disqualification under 302.755, RSMo, a conviction for excessive 12 CSR 10-24
speed is a serious traffic violation as prescribed by 49 CFR section 383.5 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations if the actual speed is fifteen (15) miles per hour or more above the posted speed limit while the driver is operating a commercial motor vehicle.
