PURPOSE: This rule clarifies when the newly revised application for title should be presented to the Department of Revenue.

1. (1) Every applicant titling a motor vehicle, trailer, all-terrain vehicle or manufactured home shall file an application for title on a form prescribed by the Director of Revenue in accordance with sections 301.190, 301.700 and 700.320, RSMo.
2. (2) Effective December 1, 1994, the department will begin issuing a newly revised Application for Missouri Title and License, DOR-108, with a revision date of October 1994.
3. (3) Effective March 1, 1995, all Missouri dealers and lienholders should submit the newly revised Application for Missouri Title and License, DOR-108, with revision dates of October 1994, or later when applying for title on a motor vehicle, trailer, all-terrain vehicle or manufactured home.
4. (4) The department will continue to accept previous versions of the Application for Missouri Title and License, DOR-108, until December 1, 1995.
5. (5) The department will continue to honor any pending applications previously submitted to the department.
