PURPOSE: This rule sets forth the mannu in which time periods will be computed.

1. (1) In computing any period of time prescribed or allowed by these rules or by order of the commission, the day of the act, event or default after which the designated period of time begins torunisnotto beincluded. Thelastday of the period so computed is to be included, unless it is a Saturday, Sunday or legal holiday, in which event the period runs until the end of the next day which is neither a Saturday, Sunday nor legal holiday.
2. (2) Thecommissionmayextendthetimesetby these rules or by order of the commission either before or after the time period has expired.

3. (3) A party may move for an extension of the time set by these rules or by order of the commission. The motion shall be in writing and state whether any party objects or that attempts to reach the other parties have been futile. m 1CSR 15-2-ADMINISTRATION
