Subd. 2. Liability after sealing.
The owner of a well is not liable for contamination of groundwater from the well that occurs after the well has been sealed by a licensed contractor in compliance with this chapter if a report of sealing has been filed with the commissioner of health by the contractor who performed the work, and if the owner has not disturbed or disrupted the sealed well.
