Subd. 1. Establishment.

The project riverbend board is established under Laws 1982, chapter 627.

Subd. 2. Members.

1. (a) Except as provided in Laws 1982, chapter 627, section 7, the board shall consist of six members, one each from the counties of Renville, Redwood, Brown, Nicollet, Blue Earth, and Le Sueur.
2. (b) The members shall be appointed by their respective county boards for a term of two years.

Subd. 3. Chair.

The board shall select a chair, who shall preside at meetings and hearings and may call special meetings.

Subd. 4. Procedural rules and records.

The board shall adopt rules for the transaction of its business and shall keep a public record of its transactions, findings, and determinations.

Subd. 5. Quorum.

A majority of all members of the board constitutes a quorum and a majority vote of all members is required for the board to take any action pursuant to section 103F.389.

Subd. 6. Staff and funds.

The counties shall supply staff and funds to the board as may be necessary for its operation.
